Borderway Beef Breeding Sale

On Friday 21^st January Harrison & Hetherington held their monthly Beef Breeding cattle. A very mixed show of cows and heifers with calves at foot and in calf cows and heifers was forward on Friday.

Messrs Johnston & Son, Orton Hall’s run of stock Limousin x cows and calves topped at £2450, £2250 and £2220. Messrs Stevenson & Sons, Lower Langshaw Farm sold a Limousin x heifer and heifer calf for £2400. Messrs Pattinson, The Flatt’s run of in calf heifers topped at £2100 and £2050 for Limousin x.

Mr Alastair Dodd, Tundergarth Mains sold a Limousin in calf cow for £1950.
