Bullocks (17) averaged 260p per kg and sold to 286p (n/c on the week) 

Heifers (66) averaged 262p per kg and sold to 310 (x2)p (n/c on the week)

Young Bulls (3) averaged 211p

Cast Cows (47) averaged 166p per kg and sold to 195p (+5p on the week) Top price £1695

Cast Bulls (3) averaged 133p per kg and sold to 143p per kg.  Top price £1700

Hoggs (1086) averaged 264p per kg, (-6p on the week) £116 per head and sold to £155 for Texel Hoggs

Top price 323p per kg for Beltex Hoggs

*Mr Stuart Ramsey, Falsidehill Farm, Kelso kindly donated a Charollais Cast Ewe from the Skeyfall Charollais Flock in aid of The British Heart Foundation

The Ewe was bought and put back up for auction on four occasions with donations from Mr Ben Gray on behalf of A.Atkinson Livestock Ltd and again this time representing Yorkshire Halal Meats Ltd, Ryan Briggs, Briggsy’s Butchers, Jedburgh and finally Harrison and Hetherington.  Final total amounting to £1200 *

A mixed show of Cast Sheep sold to a fast trade throughout with well over half of the sale being horned Ewes.

Out with the kindly donated charity Ewe, a peak of £211 was met for a powerful Texel from W.A Wilson, Hutlerburn
