At Lockerbie Market on Saturday 12th February Harrison & Hetherington held their Annual Show and Sale of North Country Cheviot in lamb females and ewe hoggs. A superb entry of females were forward and buyers from all over the UK in attendance resulting in a near 100% clearance.
The Judge Mr Cameron Jackson, Future Livestock awarded the Championship to Mrs Jennifer Cowan, Boghead, Hightae with an outstanding Ewe hogg sired by Wandylaws X-Factor which sold at £1500 to the Judge.

Overall Champion - Boghead £1500
Reserve Champion was consigned by the Hownamgrange flock of Messrs W & J Thomson, Kelso. A 2018 born ewe sired by Soutra The Boss, she sold in lamb to Hownamgrange Clynelish for £1100. She travels down to Mr Roberts, Wales.
Kelsocleugh Farming sold a Hethpool Walter gimmer, scanned in lamb to a Rawburn ram for £1400 to Mr Stephen Robinson, Sykes flock.

The Jethart flock of SG Turnbull sold a Black 1 crop ewe, scanned carrying twins for £1200 to Thomas Kerr, Colony flock, Perthshire.
The Carruthers flock also topped at £1200 this time for a 2 crop ewe by Wester Whizzer, scanned twins to Gilston Bonny Lad, She sold to Mr David Aiken, Crookedstane flock, Lockerbie.
