At St Boswells on Monday 14^th March, Harrison & Hetherington held their weekly Prime stock sale of cattle and sheep

Sold 79 Clean Cattle, 32 Cast Cows, 873 Prime Hoggs and 276 Cast Sheep

Bullocks (21) averaged 247p per kg and sold to 274p (n/c on the week) 

Heifers (58) averaged 252p per kg and sold to 304p    (n/c on the week)

Cast Cows (30) averaged 176p per kg and sold to 213p (+2p on the week) Top price £1599

Cast Bulls (2) sold to 181p.  Top price £1980

Hoggs (873) averaged 250p per kg, (+5p on the week) £115 per head and sold to £144 for Beltex Hoggs

Top price 312.5p per kg for Beltex Hoggs

Cast Sheep(276)  averaged £91.25, and sold to £185 for Suffolks and Texels

Heavy Ewes averaged £139, light ewes sold to £127 for North Country Cheviot Ewes, and averaged £89
