On Tuesday 15th March Harrison & Hetherington Ltd held its March sale of store cattle in Middleton In Teasdale market. A good show of 105 stores were present and were met with a completive trade throughout. Topping the sale was a Limousin steer from Tarn Bros, Toft House selling for £1130.
Heifers topped at £1090 for a flashy pair of Limousin crosses from RB Watson, Strandfoot. Buyers were certainly present verging on the side of caution with the current climate however cattle were keenly bid for with many good grazing steers and heifers selling well over the £900 mark.
