On Monday 21st March Harrison & Hetherington held their weekly sale of store & breeding sheep.
BREEDING SHEEP: A larger entry of ewes and lambs were forward with trade taking a huge lift with sunny weather putting a spring in the buyer’s steps. A sale average of £96 a life was achieved. Topping today’s sale at £112 was Messrs Teasdale’s run of ewes and lamb sold to average £103 a life. Messrs Walton, Goodie Hill sold his run of Texel cross older ewes to average a fantastic £98. Entries are being invited for next week’s sale.

STORE SHEEP: A smaller entry of store sheep and again a nice trade was had topping at £111 from Messrs Marrs, Middlemoor and a whole sale average of £94.
