At Wooler on Wednesday 23rd March Harrison and Hetherington held their weekly sale of primestock selling 564 prime sheep comprising of 350 Hoggs and 214 Cast Ewes & Rams
Hoggs: With the majority being heavies all classes similar trade
Sale was topped by a pen of Suffolks to £132.50 from S Shell & Sons, Brandon bought by J A Jewitt

Sale peak of £193 for a smart Texel from Duncan J Ord, Chatton Park
Whilst tups soared to a height of £181 for a Texel from R C & I W Whitten & Sons, West Longridge
