At Wooler on Wednesday 30th March Harrison and Hetherington held their weekly sale of primestock selling 482 prime sheep comprising of 306 Hoggs and 176 Cast Ewes & Rams
Hoggs: A mixed show with predominantly heavy sorts, all classes a touch sharper

Cast Ewes: Cast sheep sold to heights never witnessed at Wooler Auction Mart before as numbers continue to dry up nationally
Centre record was smashed as a fantastic Texel ewe from D S & P W Hyslop, Wrangham sold to a peak of £265!!! Closely followed by £261 again for a smart Texel, this time from Roseden (Lilburn Estates) both purchased by regular buyer, J T Dunn, West Farm, Ponteland
