Kirkby Stephen Store Cattle

Harrison & Hetherington Ltd, Kirkby Stephen Mart held their sale of Store Cattle on Monday.

topping the sale at £1325 was a Limousin cross steer from Messrs Bousfield, Cranberry Farm, Mallerstang.

12 month old Limousin steers sold to £1225 from Messrs Brogden, Helbeck, Brough, yearling steers sold for £1225 and £1185 with 8 month old Limousin steers selling to £1065 from this same home.

Beef shorthorn steers sold to £1035 at 11 months old also from Messrs Brogden.

All classes of store cattle were a strong trade once again.
