Carrlisle Beef Breeding Sale

On Friday 22^nd April Harrison and Hetherington held their monthly Beef Breeding sale at Borderway Mart.

A smaller show of cows and heifers with calves, incalf heifers and bulling heifers were forward.

Linda Wilson, Bridge View sold an Aberdeen Angus bull for 3400gns.

Messrs Betts, Bridge Farm sold the top priced Limousin heifer and calf for £1950. Messrs Bowe, Midtown Farm sold a Limousin cross heifer and calf for £1920, Messrs McDougal, Heathfield sold a Whitebred Shorthorn heifer for £1900.#

Messrs Pattinson, Bonshawside sold a Limousin bulling heifer for £1750 (x2), £1700.

In Calf Heifers: Aberdeen Angus £1180 Barwhanny Farm.

Bulling Heifer: Limousin £1750 (x2), £1700, £1600 (x2), £1550 Bonshawside, £1420 (x2) Croft House Farm, Simmental £1380, £1300 The Flatt,  Hereford £1265 (x7) The Flatt, Aberdeen Angus £1100 (x3) The Flatt.
