Borderway Sale of Calves

On Wednesday 4^th May Harrison & Hetherington held their weekly sale of another cracking entry of 390 calves with another tremendous trade was had for all classes.  Topping todays sale at £520 was an excellent British Blue bull from Messrs Elwen, Netherfield with heifers from the same home topping at £455 for three.  Trade for young calves were exceptionally buoyant especially Herefords and Angus.  Dairy bred bulls again flew with a great run of Montbelairdes from Messrs Ramsey, Gillespie which sold to average £175.
