Borderway, Rosehill, Carlisle, CA1 2RS

DANNY BOY TOPS WITH SPECIAL RAE

Top quality animals from as far north as Aberdeen and down to Staffordshire many with exceptional pedigrees packed the May Border & Lakeland sale catalogue from start to finish.  Trade topped at 4,900gns for a special heifer calf with milking heifers topping at 3,200gns on two occasions to average £2420.

The show was sponsored by Dugdale Nutrition and was judged by Matt Stephenson from Wintertarn Farm near Shap.  His overall Champion went to Stowbeck Alvarez Mabel who was consigned by Skirwith Hall Farms and went on to sell for 3,000gns to the judge.  She had classified Very Good the day prior to the sale and was sired by the young De-Su Syracse son Alvarez.
