Lockerbie Store Cattle Sale

On Tuesday 24^th May Harrison & Hetherington held their fortnightly sale of store cattle at Lockerbie Mart. All classes of store cattle were very easily sold with grass buyers out in full force. Bullocks to £1380 for a British Blue cross from Messrs D Wilson, Belzies and to 267.9ppk for Angus bullocks from Messrs Taylor, Fingland. Heifers sold to £1590 for a 538kg Limousin heifer which sold at 295.5ppk from Messrs D Wilson, Belzies. More cattle required to meet demands.
