Borderway Calf Sale

On Wednesday 22nd June Harrison & Hetherington held their weekly Calf Sale at Borderway, a quality run of 347 were forward with a very busy ring side of buyers ensuring a strong trade throughout.  A top price was set at £510 for a Limousin x bull calf from Richard Wilson, Broomberry, Ayrshire with another also selling for £500.  The trade and demand proved sharpest for younger calves with British Blues selling for £280-£320 regularly.
