Harrison & Hetherington Ltd held their fortnightly sale of store lambs where another fantastic entry of 907 store lambs were forward here at Kirkby Stephen.

Topping the sale at £113 were a pen of 12 Beltex cross lambs from Messrs Marwood, Hill Top Farm, Richmond.

Mule lambs topped at £86.50 for a pen of 25 from Messrs Beaty, The Croft, Kirkby Stephen.

Messrs Walton, Swarthymere sold a pen of 13 Mule lambs to make £84.

Texel cross Mule lambs sold to £92 for a pen of 10 from Flash House Farms, Sheffield.

Cheviot Mules lambs sold to £83.50 for a pen pull of 43 lambs from Messrs Swift, Dry Howe, Kendal.

Swaledale lambs sold to £57 for a pen of 10 from Messrs Birbeck, West End, Kirkby Stephen.

Another roaring trade for all classes and sizes of store lambs, with sales of store lambs going from strength to strength here at Kirkby Stephen!

A packed ringside of potential buyers were present many of which went home empty handed and many more store lambs can be sold to great advantage here at Kirkby Stephen on a fortnightly basis, with the next sale being Tuesday 30th August.
