On Friday 19th August Harrison & Hetherington sold 1140 breeding sheep. All classes of ewes and shearling gimmers sold extremely well to a packed ringside of buyers. Topping at £325 for an outstanding Suffolk shearling from Low House Farm Ltd, Armathwaite. Suffolk half bred shearlings sold to £315 for a pen of 6 from R Skelton, New Hall. Blue Texel shearlings sold to £300 for a pen of 3 from C Hastings, Courthill. Breeding ewes topped at £230 for Suffolks from Low House Farm Ltd. Breeding rams sold to £700 from H Currie, Eden Dales.
