Kirkby Stephen OTM & Cast Cow Sale

Harrison & Hetherington Ltd, Kirkby Stephen Mart held their fortnightly sale of cast and OTM cattle.

Topping the sale at 215.5p/kg and £1558.07 was a 8 year old Limousin cross cow from Messrs Scott, Low House, Barnard Castle.

Messrs Buckle, Bleathgill, Barras sold a British Blue cross cow to make 205.5p/kg.

A flying trade for all classes was witnessed once again and many more numbers of all types can be sold to extreme demand!

An overall sale average of 183.98p/kg and £1152.15 was achieved.
