Lockerbie Store Cattle Sale

On Tuesday 30^th August Harrison & Hetherington held their fortnightly sale of store cattle at Lockerbie Mart.

Limousins sold to £1180 for a bullocks from Messrs Jackson, Cumstone. Aberdeen Angus bullocks sold to £1110 for pen of 3 from Messrs Johnstone, Logan Mains, Charolais bullocks sold to £1100 from Messrs McTurk, Glenshimmerock. Aberdeen Angus heifers also sold well from Messrs More, Maxwellbank selling to £1070. The same home also sold bullocks to 238ppk for Aberdeen Angus’. Charolais topped at 248ppk from Messrs McTurk.
