On Monday 29th August, Harrison and Hetherington held their weekly sale of store lambs.
A bigger show on the week was met with new buyers in attendance. Lesser quality lambs sold easier on the week but still a strong trade overall.
Texel lambs topped at £97 from Messrs Preston, Pallet Hill. Beltex peaked at £94 from Messrs Graham, Ashdene. Mules sold to £80 from Messrs Walton, Merry Knowe with Suffolks selling to £85 from Messrs Watson, Sarkside.
