At Wooler on Wednesday 31st August Harrison and Hetherington held their weekly sale of primestock selling 1530 Prime Sheep comprising 1182 Lambs and 348 Cast Ewes and Rams

The sale was topped again by W K McGowan, Craiglea with hard fed Beltex to £149 (46kg) to Vivers Scotlamb.
