On Monday 5th September, Harrison and Hetherington held their weekly sale of store lambs.
A great show of lambs, attracted buyers from all over the country which resulted in lambs of all classes being a great trade. Topping the sale at £101 was two outstanding texels from Messrs Mair of Dunnabie House. Messrs Mallinson, Rack Beck also seen £100 for an outstanding Pen of 14 Texel lambs, Trade for Texel lamb has certainly raised as we saw over 150 Texel cross lambs at over £90 per head. Hill lambs have also been a great trade, as both Cheviot and Mules sell to £79.
