Borderway Store & Breeding Sheep Sale

Borderway, Rosehill, Carlisle, CA1 2RS

On Monday 12th September, Harrison and Hetherington held their weekly sale of store lambs.

More sheep forward on last week for both breeding and store lambs. Breeding sheep were slightly harder to sell especially the lesser end. Texels topped at £205 from Messrs Mair, Wintershields and £195 from the same home. Store lambs are still on fire for any strong, short keep lambs, longer lambs slightly less on the week. Blue Texels reached heights of £122. Mule lambs sold to £81 from T P Wigham, Hargill House. Texels topped at £98 from Messrs Hague. Sheep remain in high demand.
