Harrison & Hetherington Ltd held their fortnightly sale of store lambs when 622 were forward.
Topping the sale at £94 were a pair of Texel cross lambs from Robert Dent, Mount Pleasant Farm, Brough.
Messrs Rutter, Green Gill Farm sold a pen of 35 Texel cross Mule lambs to make £90.
Messrs Atkinson, Brackenthwaite Farm, Appleby sold a pen of 33 Texel cross lambs to make £84.50.
Hill Cheviot lambs sold to £81 for a pen from Robert Dent, Mount Pleasant Farm.
Blackfaced lambs sold to £64 for a pen of 14 from Messrs Parsley, Roundthwaite Abbey.
All classes were a very strong trade and many more store lambs can be easily sold well to a large ringside of buyers, with our next sale being on the 27th September.
