Lazonby Store Lambs Sale

On Thursday 3^rd November, Harrison and Hetherington held its fortnightly sale of store lambs in Lazonby Market. 

An entry of 1105 were presented to a ringside of buyers with all classes keenly bid for. Topping the sale was a pen of 6 Beltex lambs from EC Hodgson, Ingledene, Penrith who sold a pent to £128. Texels topped at £124 for a pen of 3 from Messrs Horn, Penrith. Mules topped at £90 from V Coulson, Hexham.

Hill lambs topped at £70 for a pen of Swaledale from JT Green Hill Farm. Suffolks also topped at £90 for a pen from Messrs Horn, Penrith.

Another wonderful show was presented with all vendors more than happy with a total sale average of £64.32 being achieved.
