On Monday 7th November, Harrison and Hetherington held their weekly sale of store sheep at Borderway. A small yet decent show of lambs witnessed a solid trade for all types. Topping at £93 for a pen of 10 Texel crosses from JG Miller, Smithy Garth, Penruddock. Messrs CW Forster, Parkside sold a pen of 40 Texel cross mules to £85. A sale overall average was £74.45. Breeding rams sold to £160 for a 2 Shear Texel x from A & J Watson, Oakbank Farm.
