On Thursday 10th November, Harrison and Hetherington held its final seasonal sale of store lambs in Lazonby Market.
A final entry of 666 lambs were forward and met a pleasant trade throughout. Topping the sale was a pen of Beltex lambs from Mike and Marie Faulder, Ewan Close who sold to £120, the same home sold a marvelous run of 50 lambs to average £100.58. Mules topped at £80 for a pen of 6 from Messrs Summers, Milescott. Texel lambs sold to £110 from SJ & JM Brown, Bow Hall. Swaledales topped at £53 for a pen from the same home. Cheviot lambs topped at £84 for a pen of 50 from Messsrs Watson, Croglin Low Hall.
