On Monday 21st November Harrison & Hetherington sold 670 store lambs at their weekly sale. Lambs proved harder to cash this week in line with the prime trade easing yet strong well-bred lambs were still keenly bid for topping at £90 for a pair of Texel crosses from R Atkinson, Brackenthwaite Farm. Mule lambs topped at £88 from TP Wigham, Hargill House while Cheviots topped at £83 from Messrs Lambert, Townhead New Farm.
The next sale is 28th November at 12.30pm. More numbers are required on a weekly basis to meet buyer’s demand.
