PRIME LAMBS: 

Christmas Show and Sale of Prime Lambs- fantastic show of 80 pairs of lambs presented infront of the Judge Mr Ben Gray, Harrogate

The Champion pen was awarded to the first prize pen of Beltex Lambs from Mr R.Coney, Glenogle, Westruther.  The outstanding pair weighed 45kgs and sold to £210 to J.M Quality Meats, St Boswells, purchased by Mr Ryan Briggs

Reserve prize was awarded to Messrs Gray, Sunnycroft selling to the judge, Mr Ben Gray, for a pair of Texel.x Lambs at 50kgs £180

This year’s show was kindly sponsored by Tarff Valley

A bottle of ‘Glamis Castle’ Whiskey was auctioned for the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation. £140 was reached and was purchased by Mr Ryan Briggs, Briggsys Butchers, Jedburgh

Also donated to the Doddie Foundation was a lamb from Messrs Hunter, Broachrigg bought by local butchers J.A Waters & Sons, Selkirk for £170
