At Wooler on Wednesday 7th December Harrison and Hetherington sold 1203 prime sheep comprising of 892 Lambs and 411 Cast Ewes and Rams at the Christmas Show
The show was kindly sponsored by Northumbria Quality Feeds, Alnorthumbria Vets and The Beltex Sheep Society
A great show with some of the cream of Northumberland and the Borders in attendance was judged by Ben Gray, Harrogate and awarded the Champion to Fiona Mellor, Annstead for an outstanding pen of 5 bareskin Beltex realising £205 (52kg) to J Dunn, West Farm, Ponteland who kindly donated them to his regular charity Macmillan nurses. Reserve were a pen of hard fed Beltex from Lilburn Estates £150 (44kg) Vivers Scotlamb
