Roussin Sheep Society Sale

The annual Roussin Sheep Society Sale held at Borderway Mart saw a top price of 800gns for ram lamb Ballylinney Memphis consigned by D Steen and purchased by Messrs Powell.

The top shearling ram went to McCornick Lancelot consigned by M McCornick selling for 700gns to Messrs Hickson, Jedburgh. As well as Ballylinney Lieutenant from D Steen also selling for 700gns going to Messrs Logan, Ayrshire.

Topping the female trade at 500gns was shearling gimmer consigned by M McCornick. This girl found a new home in Roxburghshire with Mr Livesey.
