Lockerbie Store Cattle Sale

On Tuesday 10^th January Harrison and Hetherington held their first sale of the year at Lockerbie Market. We saw a great show of cattle come forward into the ring with buyers from Yorkshire to Aberdeenshire flood into the market. We saw an excellent trade for all classes of cattle which left all vendors leaving the ring with a smile on their faces.

Topping the sale at £1505 was an outstanding limousine bullock from Messrs Richardson, Purdomstone. Topping the Simmentals at £1200 was a bullock from Messrs Moore, Maxwellbank. The same vendor also topped the British Blues at £1150 with a bullock.
