Borderway Sale of Store & Breeding Sheep

On Monday 23^rd January Harrison and Hetherington conducted their weekly sale of store lambs and early breeding sheep sale.

A small entry of in-lamb sheep were forward with top price being a pen of 3 crop mules with twins selling for £130 from Mr Nicholson, Hen Moss.

Store lambs met a serious demand with the sale being £10 up on the week.  Topping the sale was a single Texel from Mr Lamb, High Troweir Farm selling for £93.  Hill Sheep topped at £77 for a pen of 17 from JH & AW Paisley, Micklethwaite.
