Borderway Calf Sale

On Wednesday 1^st February Harrison & Hetherington held their weekly sale of calves.  Returning to Borderway JMJ Fisher and Daughters, Holmewrangle topped today’s trading at £535 for an outstanding British Blue bull calf.  D J Livingstone, Kirtlevale topped the Limousin section at £530 twice and Angus calves were up to £435 from C Horsley, Whitrigg Grange.  Hereford bulls topped were up to £340 from Messrs Errrington, Sockbridge Hall and Messrs JMJ Fisher and Daughters, Holmewrangle topped the Holstein Friesian section at £270.

JMJ Fisher and Daughters, Holmewrangle stole the show with British Blue heifers up to £450. Messrs Somerville, Braehill Farm topped the Limousin section at £375 for an outstanding heifer.  Hereford heifers topped at £320 from Messrs Errington, Sockbridge Hall.  and Angus heifers to £320 from Messrs Somerville, Braehill
