Borderway Weaned Cattle Sale

On Wednesday 1^st February, Harrison and Hetherington held their weekly sale of weaned cattle.

The super trade in ring 4 continues as the place is once again packed.

Limousin bulls were up to £1560 from Messrs Knox, Cragside who also had others at £1540 and £1440. British Blue bulls sold to £1350 and £1300 from Messrs Dixon, Chapplehow. Shorthorn bulls were up to £1330 from Messrs Goddard, Frankstown. Bullocks and heifers also a tremendous trade with Limousin bullocks to £1210 from Messrs Bird. British Blue Bullocks to £1220 from Messrs Kier, Nether Oakshaw. Limousin heifers sold to £1200 from Messrs Mallinson of the hill.

 More cattle required next week to meet ever growing demand.
