Lockerbie Store Cattle Sale

Store cattle trade just gets dearer and dearer. Lockerbie Auction Market held its fortnightly sale of store cattle which saw all types up once again on the fortnight. Charolais from Messrs Spence, North Corrielaw, Messrs Macgregor, Relief Farm and Simmentals from Messrs Rae, Muirhead all above the 300ppk mark. Beef Shorthorn bullocks sell to £1490 from Messrs McGregor, The Dirrops and Aberdeen Angus bullocks to £1440 from Messrs Lockhart, Greenbeck. Simmental heifers sold to £1250 from Messrs More, Maxwellbank.
