Borderway Sale of Weaned Cattle

On Wednesday 15th February, Harrison and Hetherington held their weekly sale of weaned cattle.

450 stirks forward to a packed ringside of buyers. Despite the large numbers demand is still exceptional with even more cattle able to be sold through ring 4. Limousin bulls topped at £1400 from Messrs Reid, Kirkburn. Messrs Jefferson was not far behind with a bull at £1390. Bullocks sold to £1130 for an Aberdeen Angus from Messrs Vevers, High Plains. Limousin Bullocks sold to £1360 from Messrs Lord, The Bog. Simmental bullocks topped at £1270 from Messrs Fletcher, Muirston and British Blue bullocks to £1390 from the same home. Limousin Heifers were up to £1240 from Messrs Cowan, The Ash, Messrs Lord, The Bog and Messrs Fletcher, Muirston.
