Lockerbie Store Cattle Sale

On Tuesday 21^st February, Lockerbie Auction Mart held this fortnightly sale of store cattle, whereby all lots saw a rise, with many selling to more than £200 more than off farm prices.

Limousin bullocks to £1670 from Messrs Richardson, Purdomstone. Limousin heifers to £1600 from Messrs Wilson, Belzies and a 10 month British Blue heifer sold to a staggering £1450 from Messrs Rosson, Laverockhall. 9 month old Charolais bullocks to 384 & 342 pence per kilo from Messrs Macgregor, Relief with the same homes heifers selling to 305ppk. The British Blue heifer from Laverockhall sells to 355ppk.
