STORE CATTLE –   Yet another great show of 560 store cattle forward at Borderways weekly sale whereby there looked no let up once again with trade seeing a top of £1980 for a Limousin heifer from Messrs Jenkinson, Clifton Moor, Penrith.  Aberdeen Angus crosses to £1730 for a dairy crossbred for Messrs Crichton, Limekilns, Annan.  British Blues to £1590 for a pen of four from Messrs Wright, Cranberry, Lockerbie. £1520 for a pen of Simmentals from Messrs Thompson, Wood Head, Carlisle.  Charolais crosses to £1530 for two from Messrs Robson, Merryshield, Newcastle.  Steers peaked at £1930 from Messrs Studholme, Ash View, Wigton.  British Blues to £1860 from Messrs Batey, High Knells, Carlisle.  Aberdeen Angus to £1720 from Messrs Vance, Sloehabbert, Newton Stewart.  Beef Shorthorns to £1710 from Messrs Magnay, Greenwrae, Gretna and Charolais to £1700 from Messrs Cullen, Crosshill Farm, Carlisle.

Black and Whites sold to £1500 for Fleckviehs from Messrs Crichton, Limekilns, Annan and Holstein Friesians to £1480 for a pen of four from Messrs Smith, The Green, Annan.
