Lockerbie Store Cattle Sale

Strong trade for store cattle at Lockerbie Auction Market continues. 250 cattle forward with Charolais steers selling to 350ppk from Messrs MacGregor, Relief. Beef Shorthorn bullocks sell to 325ppk from Messrs Howatson, Gillenbie. Heifers also sell to 323ppk. Heifers top at £1600 for a packet of Aberdeen Angus’s from Cowhill trust. Aberdeen Angus bullocks top at £1580 from Messrs Lockhart, Greenbeck. Shorthorns reach £1430 from Messrs McGregor, Dirrops.
