Rossiebank Holstein Herd Disperses at Borderway 

The well-known and highly regarded Rossiebank Holstein herd owned by the Neill family from Perth & Kinross was dispersed at the Borderway Sale Centre in front of a large crowd of milk producers from across the UK.  Trade topped at 2,600gns to average £1786 per life for 400 Holsteins with 104 heifers in milk averaging £2038.

Topping the trade at 2,600gns was a Welcome Brenan milking heifer that was three weeks fresh.  She was purchased by Reay Farming near Carlisle.

A daughter of Sandy-Valley Camden sold for 2,550gns to the Harper family from near Dearham. She was due with her second calf in July carrying a pregnancy by Welcome Heart. 

The Neil family really appreciated all the support they received from milk producers from across the UK and would like to wish buyers success with their Rossiebank cattle.
