At Wooler on Wednesday 5th April Harrison and Hetherington sold 641 prime sheep comprising of 417 Hoggs and 224 Cast Ewes and Rams
Hoggs: A more commercial show with more tail end sorts on offer, being a touch easier on the week
Sale was topped with Texels to £136 from S Shell & Sons, Brandon and I F Murray, Shepherds Cottage to Andrew Atkinson and Nicholsons Butchers

Cast Ewes: A mixed show of cast sheep forward with power and flesh continuing to fetch a premium whilst leaner sorts proved slightly harder on the week
Sale peak of £180 for a Texel ewe from G Aitken & Son, Traprain, whilst tups topped at £130 for a pair of powerful Suffolk tups from J A Frater, Goswick Farm
