Borderway Calf Sale

On Wednesday 5^th April Harrison & Hetherington held their weekly sale of calves.  £550 was top price on three occasions today for outstanding Angus bulls from Messrs Raven, Crookdake Hall and Messrs Livingstone, Kirtlevale topped at £540 twice in the Limousin section.  British Blue bulls were up to £535 on four occasion from Messrs Johnston, Petteril Side.  Messrs Wadsworth, Big Balcraig, Messrs Elliot, Brackenhow and Messrs Dun, Jeanfield.   Charolais bulls were up to £240 from Fluskopike Farms  and Herefords sold to £395 twice from Park House Farms.  Holstein Friesian topped at £240 from Messrs Martin, Tempest Tower.  Speckled Parks were up to £200 from Yeskett Farming

British Blue heifers from Messrs Johnston Petteril Side sold to £520.   Messrs Wadsworth, Big Balcraig had Angus heifers topping at £395.  Limousins peaked at £335 from Messrs Scott, Shacklehill.
