Borderway Weaned Cattle Sale

On Wednesday 5^th April, Harrison and Hetherington held their weekly sale of weaned cattle.  Bulls started the day off tremendously for a smaller number forward.  Aberdeen Angus bulls topped at £1480 from Mr Hamilton, Ardbrae. The same home had a pair of Hereford bulls at £1300.  Limousin bulls topped at £1090 from Messrs Smith, Lake View.  Charolais bullocks were up to £1410 from Messrs Fletcher, Muirston, the same home had others at £1360 and heifers to £1480.  Limousin heifers were up to £1290 from Messrs Scott, Bleabank Farm.  More cattle required next week to meet demand
