Borderway Calf Sale

On Wednesday 12^th April Harrison & Hetherington held their weekly sale of calves. 

Another colossal entry of 415 calves were forward and were met with a pleasing trade all round.

Toping at £490 was a tremendous Limousin bull calf from Messrs Naylor, Hill Green, Holmrook. Native bred calves peaked at £465 twice from Messrs Martin, Tempest Towers, Carlisle.

Heifers sold to £465 for a British Blue from Messrs Caddy, The Crescent, Egremont.

Black and white calves were a solid trade from start to finished, topping at £310 for 2 Holstein Friesian calves from Messrs Marshall, Brownrigg Farm, Dumfries.
