Borderway Weaned Calf Sale

On Wednesday 31st May, Harrison and Hetherington held their weekly sale of weaned cattle.  Ring 4 defies all odds as cattle trade rises again.  Bulls started the afternoon off in magnificent style topping at £1780 from Messrs Batty, Flimby Hall.  Other Limousins sold to £1640 from Messrs Dodd, Tundergarth Mains.  Messrs Kirkwood, Mouswald Grange sold Montbelairde and Hereford bulls to £1300.

Bullocks topped at £1340 for a British Blue from Messrs Seymour, Brackenslack.  Limousin bullocks to £1320 from Messrs Thirlwall, Quarry Farm.  Heifers sold to £1320 from Messrs Routledge, Netherton again for Limousins.

More cattle required next week as grass continues to grow.
