Borderway Ewe & Lamb sale

On Monday 12^th June, Harrison & Hetherington held their weekly show of ewes and lambs.

A smaller show of 140 was presented and were met with a delightful trade, despite the ongoing hot weather and grass starting to burn in certain areas.

Topping the sale was a Texel ewe with a single lamb from GR & R Pinguey, High House, Wigton selling for £112 mules topped at £76 for ewes with twins, from Messrs Kirkpatrick, Riverside. Hoggs topped at £107 for Texel cross hoggs from JS, Gibson & Son, Hexham.
