STORE CATTLE – A seasonal entry of 320 store cattle which came forward in in all shapes and sizes, luckily in Borderway you’re always guaranteed several buyers for everything.

Leading the way at £1920 was a forward Limousin cross bullock from Messrs Grice, Newton Farm, Carlisle.

Heifers peaked at £1780 for a fantastic Limousin cross consigned by Messrs Gass, Nunscleugh, Roweltown.

A nice offering of yearling continental types saw a favourable selling conditions ringside, selling to £1590 for heifers from RG & LA Grieve, Whiteside, Hexham.
