THE RAIN FALLS AND THE TRADE RISES

On Wednesday 21^st June Harrison and Hetherington held their weekly sale of weaned cattle. 

Bulls started off the day in Ring 4 in tremendous fashion. A young Limousin bull from Messrs Knox, Cragside and two from Norman Farming reaching £1390. A Charolais bull from Messrs Miller, Crookdale Mill sells for £1370.

In the heifer section, Messrs Norman also topped with a Limousin selling to £1320. British Blue heifers sold to £1310 from Messrs Dodd, Keepershield.

Limousin bullocks sell to £1300 from Messrs Teasdale, Kellah.

Finally cows & calves sold to  £1820 from Messrs Hague, Mill Street.

More cattle required next week to meet the demand of Ring 4.
