Borderway Weaned Cattle Sale

On Wednesday 28th June Harrison and Hetherington held their weekly sale of weaned cattle.  As the numbers keep coming the trade once again holds up for all the cattle forward.  Topping todays sale at £1370 was a cracking Limousin heifer from Messrs McIntyre, Glenlea.  Topping the bull trade at £1330 was an outstanding Limousin bull from Messrs Hunter, Upper Brydekirk.  Following that at £1230 was a Hereford bull from Messrs Bell, Woodhall. 

In the steer section a top price of £1070 was British Blue bull from Messrs Hodgson, Park House,  Messrs Haigh, Halifax also had a Shorthorn  bullock at £1070.
