Borderway Sale of Store Cattle

STORE CATTLE – Stronger types and best end sorts continue to see good returns with smaller and plainer types proving harder to cash with a show full of variety forward. Leading the sale was a strong Aberdeen Angus x bullock from Messrs Magnay, Greenwrae, Gretna which sold at £1680. Heifers peaked at £1480 for a smart Charolais x from Messrs Kyle, Spout Bank, Walton. Younger cattle sold to £1420 for a yearling Limousin x heifer from Messrs Hall, Horsleyhill.
